Wedding preparations
Konrad and Edyta got married in Gocław, Warsaw, not far from where I live. They asked me to be their photographer, and that’s how this wedding story came together. They both live in Warsaw, and all the preparations took place in their flat, where the parents came together too.
At one point things got a bit crowded, but we managed. Konrad fought hard with his bow tie, but with everyone pitching in, he won in the end. Nobody said it would be easy, especially on such an important day for him.
Parents’ blessing at home
The blessing was a very emotional moment. There were tears, especially from the bride, but the wedding make-up held up in such a special situation.
The wedding at Kościół pw. św. Wacława
The wedding took place at Kościół pw. św. Wacława which looks small from the outside, but is actually huge inside. Its white walls and wooden ceiling make it a great place not just for a wedding, but for photography too. That day I had to deal with beautiful, but harsh and demanding sunlight pouring in.
The reception at Bronowska
For the reception, we went to Bronowska, a small venue near Wał Miedzeszyński.
The church, the reception venue, and the rest of the day all happened within a few streets of each other.
